New Bible Study Series: The Gospel of John Begins February 2025
Exploring the divinity of Christ and His love for humanity

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Bible study series on the Gospel of John, beginning February 5th, 2025. This comprehensive study will take us through all 21 chapters of John's Gospel over the course of eight months, providing deep insights into the nature of Christ and His mission.
Why the Gospel of John?
The Gospel of John is unique among the four Gospels, focusing particularly on the divinity of Christ and His relationship with the Father. Written by the apostle John, who was known as "the disciple whom Jesus loved," this Gospel provides intimate insights into Jesus' character and teachings.
John's Gospel contains some of the most beloved passages in Scripture, including:
- John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world..."
- The seven "I AM" statements of Jesus
- The Upper Room Discourse (chapters 14-17)
- The resurrection appearances
Study Format and Schedule
Our study will meet every Wednesday evening from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Each session will include:
- Opening prayer and worship (15 minutes)
- Inductive Bible study (60 minutes)
- Discussion and application (30 minutes)
- Closing prayer (15 minutes)
Study Materials
All participants will receive a comprehensive study guide that includes:
- Background information on each passage
- Thought-provoking discussion questions
- Cross-references to related Scripture
- Practical application exercises
- Memory verses for each chapter
Leadership Team
The study will be led by Pastor Sarah Lee, who has extensive experience in New Testament studies and has taught the Gospel of John multiple times. She will be assisted by several experienced Bible study leaders who will facilitate small group discussions.
Who Should Attend?
This study is open to believers of all maturity levels. Whether you're a new Christian wanting to learn more about Jesus, or a mature believer seeking deeper understanding, you'll find this study enriching and challenging.
We especially encourage those who have never participated in a systematic Bible study to join us. The inductive study method we use helps participants discover biblical truths for themselves rather than simply receiving information passively.
Registration and Preparation
While registration is not required, we encourage you to sign up so we can prepare adequate materials and seating. You can register online through our website or by calling the church office.
To prepare for the study, we recommend reading through the entire Gospel of John before we begin. This will give you an overview of the book and help you see how individual passages fit into the larger narrative.
Join us for this exciting journey through one of the most profound books in the Bible. Come ready to discover new truths about Jesus Christ and to grow in your relationship with Him.
